frequently asked questions

do you work with anyone else?

I am the sole photographer for Lemon & Honey Photos. However, I do bring an assistant to portrait sessions if needed and I do hire second photographers for weddings if my client desires!

how does the booking process work?

When you decide you are ready to book with me, you can email me at {lemonandhoneyphotos@gmail.com}. From there, we will select a date for your portrait session, or determine if your wedding date is available for my schedule. I will walk you through the contract signing and retainer payment, and you will receive an invoice.

For all packages aside from mini portrait sessions, we will schedule your creative session planning meeting.

I provide styling consultation and tips for all of my sessions, which we will review after your session has been booked.

do you offer payment plans?

Specialized payment plans may be applicable to weddings and events. Special circumstances may be considered on a case by case basis for portrait session payment plans.

All events, weddings, and portrait sessions require a retainer to be paid at time of booking, and payment in full prior to the time of event or session.

I want an adventure session, do you travel?

I love adventure sessions! When you book a deluxe portrait session with me, epic adventure sessions are an option. These adventure sessions may or may not be local to Boise--if you are wanting photos at an epic location but want to stay in Idaho, I have plenty of location suggestions for you!

Travel fees are applicable to locations outside of a 20 mile radius of Boise State University. These fees may include mileage, airfare, hotel, and rental car--depending on the location you select.

how far in advance should I book my session or wedding?

As soon as you have a wedding date nailed down, you should contact me to inquire about your date! Due to nursing school, I currently only accept a limited number of weddings per month in order to give my full attention and love to each bride & groom. I am already booking 2020 dates, so message me as soon as possible!

I suggest my clients book their portrait sessions at least two months in advance, as my dates fill quickly. Contact me to find out what my availability is.

what is a bridal session?

A bridal portrait session is a time for the bride & groom to go to any location for their wedding portraits. This may be before or after the date of the wedding, and it is an intimate and relaxed time for you two to enjoy each other without being rushed during the wedding day.

Bridal sessions are only for the bride and groom, not the full bridal party or family.
